Multiterminais' New Scanner goes into operation

07.15.2025

MultiRio has installed a state-of-the-art container scanner, the first scanner in Brazil to comply with COANA (General Coordination of Customs Administration) standard 76. This standard, issued by the Federal Customs Service, establishes the rules for the use of scanners in customs areas and other related matters, to increase security at customs facilities. The ordinance's regulations define the technical specifications of the equipment and the conditions for use in work areas.

We took the opportunity to welcome the Federal Revenue Service, other authorities, and partners to showcase the installation of our new scanner, which complies with COANA standard 76. This will be the first scanner of its kind to enter service in Brazil.

This is another milestone for the Multiterminais group in its pursuit of greater security and productivity in its services.
