The first of 34 new Chinese trains bought by the State government has arrived this Tuesday, the 7th, at MultiRio, one of the terminals of the Multiternimais Group. To be used in the "SuperVia" the train is comprised of 4 wagons and will be submitted to various tests before its estimated circulation date of December, as informed by the Transport Authority.

The trains are air-conditioned and have the capacity to transport 1,300 passengers. The estimate is that by August of 2012, all 34 trains will be functioning normally. Additionally, 90 more will be bought before the Olympics.
